Chang Beer Giveaway and Recipe:
It seems about time I did another little giveaway. This time, I’ve got a Chang Beer hamper, with 12 bottles of lovely refreshing Thai Beer. Now, the last time I came across Chang Beer was at a great Thai restaurant called Suda Thai. As you’d expect the beer goes REALLY well with Thai food, it’s very refreshing and light with citrusy notes!
It’s a lovely cooling thought on a hot summer’s afternoon isn’t it?
But, you know although I’m not a great beer drinking – I tend to use it for cooking! Chang Beer have shared some truly delicious sounding recipes with me – including one to make tempura batter
It’s the beer in the batter that helps to give it that lovely light, crispy texture – apparently the yeast helps the batter puff up (not just in tempura but in the beer batter we use for fish and chips too). Chang Beer is brewed using a unique blend of ingredients that help match spicy Thai cuisine. So, using Chang in this tempura recipe makes for a perfect way to season your tempura!
And of course, you should always have a bottle chilling to drink with your meal!
