Tried and Tasted Pizza from Just-Eat:
I don’t often indulge in home-delivery pizza, but right now I am in the middle of house hunting. So, the suggestion from the folk at Just-Eat inviting me to review one of the Just-Eat Tried and Tasted nominees was particularly well timed.
The aim of Tried and Tasted is to reinforce the quality of some of the Just-Eat highest rated restaurants – they’ve picked 124 of the highest rated ones from over 3,800 in London. During the voting period anyone who orders from one of these restaurants can cast their vote. And, if you DO vote, you stand a chance of winning a great prize. There’s an iPad Mini 16GB, Just-Eat Vouchers, a Kindle Fire HD, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and…joy…Just-Eat Branded Onesies.
So, I ordered…from Olivia Pizza, one of the nominees in my area. Home delivery pizza can end up being something of a ‘Wet Blanket’, but in this case my thin crust tandoori hot (with onions, green peppers, mushrooms, tandoori chicken and jalapenos) had a lovely crispy base and ample topping.
My friend enjoyed a thick crust pizza with toppings to order – Ham, Cheese, Green Peppers and Mushrooms on a tomato base. Again, beautifully prepared and piping hot.
We shared a salad which was full of good things – peppers, tomatoes, red onions and olives as well as a tasty dressing.
And a piece of chocolate fudge cake (which was eaten before I could take a photo).
And a bottle of wine (of course).
Easy eating, I’d definitely vote for Olivia Pizza for the best Italian in West London. And for Just-Eat for a service that offers flexible, varied home delivery services all from one website. Remember you have until 31st March to vote for your favourite take away restaurants and be in with a chance of winning one of the Just-Eat prizes
