OnBlackheath Festival 13th and 14th September 2014:
So, sometimes it feels as if there’s a new festival or food event starting every weekend through the summer. It takes quite a lot to make me sit up and take a second look, but OnBlackheath has done just that.
There’s a stellar line up of music acts – on Saturday Massive Attack, Grace Jones, Ibibio Sound Machine and Aloe Blacc and on Sunday Imelda May, Frank TunerThe Wytches and Jagwar Ma to name just a few.
Then there’s the food. Where else could you find luminaries of the culinary world like Simon Hulstone, Jack Stein and Valentine Warner rubbing shoulders with each other while gorgeous Gizzi Erskine presides over the Chef Club where for £25 you can feast on the dishes they produce (you’ll get two courses and a glass of wine or beer).
And there are a whole range of activities – you can learn hoola hooping swing dance beat-boxing and graffiti t-shirt design workshops and more. Sounds exhausting!
Tickets are on sale now from www.onblackheath.com or from SEE tickets (hotline 0871 230 7157), calls cost 10pence per minute plus standard network charges or Ticketmaster (hotline 0844 844 0444)
London Unattached will be there – and you could too!
I’ve got a pair of tickets for Sunday 14th to give away to one lucky reader – worth over £100! All you need to do is follow through the rafflecopter as normal and keep your fingers firmly crossed!
