KETTLE® CHIPS – NEW SEASONING LAUNCH- CRISPY BACON & MAPLE SYRUP
KETTLE Chips launched their new seasoning Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup. It’s a first for Kettle Chips – made with real meat sourced from locally bred Norfolk pigs. The launch took place at Barnyard, in Charlotte Street; the latest addition to the Michelin starred Chef Ollie Dubbous, empire.
The evening was very well attended and the venue provided the ideal backdrop to the new seasoning. Chris Barnard, the Head Chef of Kettle Chips (I preferred to refer to him as the Willy Wonka of Kettle Chips) explained how this new flavour had taken considerable time and research to come to market.
The new seasoning sees the marriage of the highly on-trend savoury and sweet flavour combinations and includes real bacon sourced locally from H.V. Graves, the well-established Norfolk family butchers, combined with the luxurious sweetness of Maple Syrup.
The sweet and savoury flavours of these new seasonings really, tickle the palate, making them the perfect crisp to accompany a range of summertime foods – from BBQ grilled meats to teatime summer sandwiches, picnics or even just a chilled glass of wine or prosecco.
The menu for the launch totally complimented the Chips, and was delicious.
As with all KETTLE® Chips products, the seasoning is made with real food ingredients. No artificial flavours, colours or MSG are added to any of their products, which some other crisp manufacturers use to make flavourings.
