Apples and pears seeded smoothie
1 tablespoon sun dried goji berries
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon linseed seeds
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
1 apple or pear
apple, pear or orange juice
Put all the seeds and the goji berries in a jug the night before and cover with water. Leave to soak in the fridge
The next morning blitz the seeds and berries till mushy
Core and chop the apple or pear and add to the mixture and blitz again.
Top up with fruit juice till you have a smoothie consistency to taste.
Drink and feel very virtuous!
The trick for those of us without a smoothie maker is to soak the seeds overnight and make sure the fruit and fruit juice is also in the fridge. That way you get a chilled smoothie. It is a very refreshing and filling smoothie. I’m still not convinced I’ll try the green spirulina version, but who knows…I may yet succumb.
