Byron Bay Bake House – NOW CLOSED – Winners Phylis Ellis and Nicole S.
Oh I love it when the postman brings me treats! This morning he arrived with a mysterious white box which turned out to be stuffed full of gorgeous cookies from Byron Bay Cookies. Byron Bay UK baked range of cookies are all vegetarian society approved, made with free range eggs and free from artificial colours and preservatives. And of their 13 cookie varieties, 5 are gluten free and registered with Coeliac UK. Although Byron Bay Cookie Company originates from Australia, the founders are very green conscious and so the cookies are produced locally in the UK, wherever possible using ingredients source from within 50 miles of their UK Bake House.
Since I don’t really bake very often, I am always looking for good cookies and cakes that I can share with friends or eat myself – and these certainly fit the bill. We’ve eaten a few already! I particularly like the fact that they are wrapped individually or in twin packs, so that they keep perfectly fresh and would be great for a lunch box or keeping in the drawer at the office for a quick snack . AND, there’s a fabulous dotty one which I gave to my brother! Being a bit of a chocolate fan I tried the triple chocolate fudge cookie which was choc (sorry) full of fudge, white and dark chocolate and a great complement to my morning coffee.
They even have a fabulous sounding winter limited edition dark chocolate and orange cookie. Mmmm just my sort of biscuit!
Now, I am sure you are feeling quite hungry! If you’d like to try some for yourself, it couldn’t be easier! Just check out the Byron Bay website here and then let me know on the blog what flavour cookie you’d like to see Byron Bay produce next.
It’s that simple.
