Win One of Three Pancake Pans from ProCook Kitchenware:
Pancake day is coming soon – Tuesday 9th February. I’m something of a fan of both sweet and savoury pancakes, though I prefer the thin ‘crepe’ style pancakes to richer American style drop pancakes. And, I certainly don’t believe in keeping pancakes just for one day of the year – they are far too good for that.
Whichever sort you like, having a good pan is essential. A proper crepe pan is flatter than a normal frying pan and allows you to tilt it easily to spread the batter, then to toss the pancake or turn it with a slice. If you don’t have one, then any good quality non stick frying pan will work – but check out the video below to see why having the right pan really helps.
ProCook Kitchenware are a leading supplier of great quality pots, pans and more. I’ve already got a collection of their procook gourmet steel pans, which work brilliantly – I use them daily, for everything from making casseroles and stews to boiling vegetables. I’m delighted to say that they’ve offered me the chance for three London-Unattached readers to win a pancake pan each. These special pans are the sort of thing that you forget you need till you want to make pancakes. You can use the pan for crepe style pancakes, like the ones in the video or to make American drop pancakes – perfect for a treat for breakfast.
So why not enter the Giveaway – all you need to do is follow the rafflecopter through as normal – remembering to comment and let me know which topping you like best on YOUR pancakes.
Meanwhile, if you are looking for a recipe for pancakes and prefer something you can print out, here’s one I did earlier!
