How to have the best time ever at your favourite sporting event.

Sponsored content.

After a couple of rather dismal years, it’s time to start enjoying life to the fullest again.  If like us, you love live sport, you’ll no doubt be checking out what to book tickets for through the summer and into Autumn.  While I might not have managed to go to Wembley, I did get tickets for Wimbledon this year and loved watching Norrie beating Pouille on court number 2.  Given the pandemic, it was something of a last-minute booking for me, I just registered and bought my tickets from Ticketmaster.  However, as the world creeps back to normality, I’ll be looking to the long term – with a view to having some really special days out, hopefully including one of the autumn internationals.

One way to experience a sporting event in a truly luxurious way is to book with a hospitality provider like Keith Prowse.  Not only does that mean you get excellent seats, you can also enjoy delicious food and drink without the need to queue for hours and at a restaurant and bar close to your official seats.

Once upon a time, hospitality was very much the reserve of corporate entertaining.  But, more and more it’s a way for sports lovers to get the ultimate experience at that special event.

I can’t think of a better treat for a Rugby fan than organising a private table at the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham on match day.  There are options for tables seating from two to twelve people with packages that include bowl food, a Bollinger champagne reception and the chance to meet the museum curator and mingle with greats from the Rugby world on the day.  And of course, seats in the South Stand at Twickenham for the perfect match experience.

I’m sure everyone has their own favourites in terms of spaces and dining options.  The Lock, with seats in the North-East or South-East corners, includes a four-course, English inspired menu and a post-match Twickenham tea, together with half-time drinks, champagne, cocktails and fine wines.

What makes these hospitality experiences so special is that you’ll be enjoying the match with no compromise of food and drink. I’ve personally enjoyed this kind of event at Twickenham, The Oval, Queens, Wimbledon and at Ascot.  While I love all kinds of live sport, it makes for a far more relaxing and enjoyable day out.

I’m quite sure that now live sport is back on the table again, these events will be really popular.  So, if you’ve missed out for the last year or so, why not treat yourself or a loved one to a day out in the Autumn.  There’s a full money-back policy in the event that any of the matches are cancelled or played behind closed doors.  So, book your place now to be sure you get to see the match of your choice.
