A Perfect Christmas Collection from Paxton Chocolates:
If you are looking for something special this Christmas then it’s well worth taking a look at the range of Christmas chocolates from Paxton. The Brighton based chocolatier was founded by Caitlin Paxton in December 2012 by Caitlin Paxton after she graduated from the Cordon Bleu as a Pastry Chef from the Cordon Bleu. It was while training that she developed a passion for chocolate and after testing a range of her creations on friends and family, set up Paxton Chocolates.
This year there’s a sumptuous Christmas range on offer, including a stunning chocolate truffle advent calendar filled with an assortment of 24 delicious handmade champagne truffles in apple and orange flavours topped with gold leaf.
If you want to eat all your truffles at once (or you miss the start of advent on 1st December), you could buy a box instead. There are two sizes available but I’d definitely be going for the ‘large’ one with a collection of Champagne Truffle flavours: Milk chocolate and orange, champagne centre in a milk chocolate shell, dark chocolate, apple & cinnamon champagne centre in a white chocolate shell and white chocolate champagne centre in a dark chocolate shell topped with orange and apple sherbert.
Perhaps their most iconic chocolate, decorated ‘chocolate thins’ comes in two special forms for Christmas. There are Giant Thins – which would make great stocking fillers or Christmas tree decorations.
And, these beautiful handmade Christmas chocolate thins which come in four delicious Christmassy flavours. While apple and orange are the key flavours, each thin is spiced with clove, caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg. Milk and white chocolate thins with orange and cardamom, milk chocolate with orange and panettone, Milk chocolate with apple, nutmeg and clove and Dark chocolate with apple cinnamon and caramel.
Paxton has been kind enough to offer a large box of Christmas thins worth £25 as a giveaway this year. So, why not take a chance and enter. All you need to do is let me know which of the Paxton range other than the Christmas goodies you most like the sound of. Just pop over to their website and take a look, then let me know in the comments below. And, of course, to be sure of some Paxton chocolates this Christmas you can order online at the same time.
