CityPASS (America) Ticket Giveaway:
When you are visiting a new city if you are anything like me you want to see everything. But, with limited time and budget, you can end up missing out on a lot. For those visiting America, CityPASS is a great way to make sure that doesn’t happen – each CityPASS contains a set of tickets to some of the best-loved attractions in the City – and buying the book will save you money too.
So, for example, the New York CityPASS costs around £90 and will save you over 40% of the ticket price on 6 attractions. There are three ‘preset’ tickets – for things you are unlikely to want to miss – The Empire State Building, the American Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And there are three more tickets where you get to choose. So, you could see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island or the Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise. Or have a ticket for the Guggenheim Museum versus one for the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Finally, there’s the option to visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum or the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. But it’s not just New York – there are CityPASS options for most major cities in North America – so you can pick your own destination!
Not only does it help you plan your itinerary, but it saves you money and time too – when you reach the destination many CityPASS tickets will provide VIP access so you’ll get to the front of the queue!
With the research that I have been doing on The Mayflower 400 year anniversary, my mind is quite focused on America at the moment. So I am quite jealous that I can’t enter this giveaway! London-Unattached readers have a chance to win two adult CityPASS tickets to their choice of destinations. Winners will receive two adult CityPASS tickets to their choice of one of the following destinations: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa Bay or Toronto. Each CityPASS ticket contains prepaid admission to a destination’s top attractions. At many sights, CityPASS tickets provide VIP access, allowing travellers to bypass an attraction’s main-entrance ticket line. CityPASS tickets are valid for nine consecutive days, beginning with the first day of use.
Whoever wins can have their passes shipped directly to their hotel or to any street address in North America, or can opt to have an e-voucher for their tickets within 6 months of their travel dates. Or for certain destinations (New York, Toronto, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia, as of March 2018) the winner could choose to receive mobile tickets via email.
- E-vouchers are valid for six months from date of issuance (the date on the email that contains the voucher).
- Within six months of receiving the e-voucher, recipients must print out the voucher and present it at the box office of the first CityPASS attraction they visit.
- The attraction will take the printed voucher and exchange it for the actual CityPASS ticket booklets.
What a fabulous prize! It’s the sort of thing that could make your trip to America truly memorable.
For your chance to win, just pop over to the CityPASS site and let me know what attraction in what city you’d most like to visit and why. Then follow the rafflecopter through and keep your fingers crossed!
