Christmas celebrations made easy with Frank Dale

I can’t believe that it’s that time of year again, Christmas is coming!

There’s nothing like being prepared for the party season even if it does have to be pared down as a result of lockdown. I love cocktails served with canapes, it certainly makes things feel very festive but canapes can be fiddly and time-consuming to make.

Frank Dale mini quiche

Frank Dale Foods offers the perfect solution to jazz up any occasion with a fabulous selection of restaurant quality, frozen miniature gastronomic treats. Frank Dale is a leading brand of frozen and chilled premium British-made food for all occasions they provide a good range of canapes which are based on British Classics but with a quirky modern twist.

I had a selection delivered to my door, (gifted) they arrived in a well-insulated box, ready to put straight into the freezer. There were lots of lovely treats to choose from including; A mini quiche selection with vibrant coloured beetroot and spinach shortcrust pastry filled with mature cheddar with onion and chive and spinach and red pepper with Greek feta which tasted scrumptious. Plus, with a vegan son, I was rather pleased that they did a range of mini vegan quiches too – woodland mushroom, pea, broccoli and mint, tomato and basil.

I was especially excited by the cutest little crispy golden miniature Yorkshire puddings, filled with traditional horseradish crème fraiche sauce, topped with minced British beef and onion and sprinkled with fresh parsley, and I rather enjoyed the full-sized salmon quiche which made for a perfect light lunch, but it would be equally good for a party. It had a delicious buttery beetroot pastry and was brimming with juicy pieces of salmon and chunks of leek.

Frank Dale - carrots cakes

And for something sweet, the mini carrot sponge cakes sprinkled with orange zest and filled with a luscious smooth cream cheese filling were just perfect.

These canapes look pretty and are remarkably tasty.  You can order online from the Frank Dale Website and everything will arrive frozen, ready to tuck away till you want to party! That’s one less thing to worry about this Christmas.

What’s more, we’ve got a gift voucher for £40 to give away to one lucky London-Unattached reader.  Just follow the rafflecopter through, remembering to answer the mandatory question.  I’d like to know from you what item would be top of your shopping list if you won the voucher!  Please don’t post links  – just tell me what tickles your fancy and why!
