Harvey Nichols for a Luxurious Christmas Treat.
Have you done your Christmas shopping yet? For me, Christmas begins when I take myself to Knightsbridge for an afternoon to go shopping. The Food Hall on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols is a great place to stock up on stocking fillers and tuck away a few Christmas treats too. And, I’m always drawn to the hamper selections. Harvey Nichols hampers do make the perfect gift for anyone who loves food – there are treats at all sorts of different tastes and budgets – from wine selections and chocolates through to Christmas specials.
For anyone feeling totally indulgent, there’s a festive feast hamper priced at £1950 – and with 156 items including Premier Cru Champagne, panettone, Christmas pudding and even Harvey Nichols own ‘Go Crackers’ for the perfect Christmas table.
But, for me what’s special about Harvey Nichols is that no matter how much you are spending, your hamper or Christmas box will be stylish and beautifully presented. I’ve had one of the Hatbox collection hampers before – and I still use the box now although the content (chocolate and champagne) has long since been consumed.
Right now I’m in the process of reviewing the Good Tidings Gift Box which is £75 with free delivery. For that, you get a whole selection of festive treats. There’s a half bottle of Premier Cru champagne (Harvey Nichols own label) and the sort of things you really want to have tucked away for the festive season – a 230g classic Christmas pudding, a few handfuls of gold almond dragées, handmade butter shortbread biscuits (yes I know I can make my own, but now I don’t have to – this tastes just as good!), some ‘cheery cherry jam’ and special Christmas teabags. None of it has a short shelf life, so if you buy it as a gift for someone who has already filled their Christmas pantry it will all last well into the new year. Well, maybe not the Champagne…I’m sure that will be gone by Christmas eve!
It comes beautifully packed in a stylish Harvey Nichols box (another one that will end up being used for storage by me) with lots of environmentally paper wrapping to keep the goodies inside nice and secure.
If food isn’t your thing, Harvey Nichols also has a range of beauty hampers from Fenty and even a rather luxurious Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 gift set for fragrance lovers! There are 72 Harvey Nichols Christmas hampers – and there are a whole set more of hampers which are perfect when you just want to send something special.
Well, that’s Christmas solved for me!
Meanwhile, if you would like the chance to win the Good Tidings Gift Box for yourself or to gift to someone else, the lovely people at Harvey Nichols have offered one for a lucky London-Unattached reader.
All you need to do is follow the rafflecopter through and remember to answer the mandatory question. I’d love to know what one item from a hamper you’d most like to receive for Christmas and why. Please let me know in the comments below and tell me what hamper it comes from so I can look for myself. Please don’t add a link – if you do, your entry may end up in my spam comments!
