Are there images that mean London to you? for me, a picture of a double decker bus is one of the most iconic shots, even though the location could be anywhere in the world from my ‘action shot’. These are just a few random photos I’ve taken as I’ve been travelling around London. Although I don’t see myself as a great photographer, having a camera has definitely opened my eyes to the beauty of the City I live in. I’m beginning to appreciate why people post a daily photo…
Is it my imagination or do London buskers have a particular look – probably thinking about the cold and rain!
One of the best things about London for me is that places like Covent Garden manage to combine architecture, shopping, culture and entertainment. It’s not surprising that Covent Garden Market is generally so busy.
I’m taking a second look at some of the great tourist attractions like the Houses of Parliament, which Londoners pass by daily, often without a thought to the magnificent architecture, and usually cursing the tourists taking selfies on the bridge.
Even some of the newer attractions like The Shard have quickly come to represent our City to me.
Maybe I’m biased, but London does seem to have some of the greatest city sights in the World. To be continued
