Party with Piper-Heidsieck Champagne
Did you know it’s 101 years since the start of prohibition? There are some real parallels with the lockdowns that have been taking place and Piper-Heidsieck Champagne is keen to celebrate with their own immersive experience. So, they have three special events lined up to take guests back to the prohibition-era roaring 1920s. Taking place on 14th, 2oth and 27th August, you’ll be able to celebrate the end of lockdown at a fabulous event featuring live jazz and authentic 1920s style food. In the glamorous but oh so discrete setting of the Swallow Street Room at Bentley’s Oyster Bar in Mayfair where drinks and dining will include small plate reinterpretation of food from the Bentley’s Oyster Bar archives and cocktails will be based on Piper-Heidsieck special release ‘Brut Prohibition’ champagne .
Guests are invited to dress up as if it was the 1920s – smart with a glamorous twist. Pull out your pearls and feathers, put on your bowtie and braces and you’ll really look the part. And, of course, there’s champagne!
You can book tickets through the Bentley booking platform HERE with tickets priced at £25 per person to include a glass of champagne, two oysters and entry.
Can’t make it? Well, Piper-Heidsieck has also launched a limited-edition bottle of ‘Brut Prohibition’ which will be available at Sainsbury’s & CO-OP stores nationwide (RSP £35). The limited-edition bottle celebrates Piper-Heidsieck’s audacity.
Benoit Collard, the General Manager tells us
The limited-edition Prohibition bottle reflects the brand’s audacious history. It represents the coming together of the young and old, and where innovation meets history. Reflective of a significant period in the brand’s rich and eccentric story, the bespoke bottle tells a tale of the efforts of bootleggers, the underground speakeasy scene and notorious Gatsby-esque parties of the wealthy who had the foresight to stock up their cellars before 1920.
Prohibition is a proud moment in time for Piper-Heidsieck. It displays the brand’s tenacity and bold nature, something which is very much alive in today’s operation
What’s more, I’ve managed to lay my hands on a bottle for one lucky London-Unattached reader. All you need to do is follow the rafflecopter through and let me know the answer to the mandatory question in the comments below.
