Rock Travel – Windsor range trolley cabin case review
We are all ardent travellers at London-Unattached and now we are gradually coming out of lockdown, I for one can’t wait to get back on road and start my travels again! I have really missed the sense of adventure that a holiday or a short trip brings, I’m looking forward to exploring somewhere new or a have a relaxing break on sunnier shores.
The good news is that the UK has already opened up for staycations and hopefully, with the encouraging data that Covid numbers are dropping and with more and more people getting vaccinated, it won’t be long before we are able to travel abroad again.
But no matter where you are going, every traveller needs a good suitcase, something stylish, light and roomy, that will protect your belongings and that’s easy to manage on every mode of transport.
I tend to go on a lot of short trips, and I was looking for a case that could be used for staycations as well as cabin luggage on trips abroad, so I was very pleased to be asked by Rock Travel to try out one of their suitcases. Rock Travel are a family-owned business that has a wealth of experience within the travel and luggage industry and have been manufacturing and distributing luggage, bags and travel accessories for more than 40 years.
Their comprehensive range of premium luggage has something for everyone including a beautiful Vintage range, which I was very tempted by as it looks really lovely, but for practicality reasons, I wanted to get the lightest cabin case available with maximum space as I always tend to fill my case to the brim. Rock offers a fantastic selection of stylish luggage, whether you want a hard or soft case, small, medium or large, plus each range comes in a selection of different colours. I recommended having a look at their website.
I chose a trolley cabin case from the Windsor range, this good quality case came in a choice of three colours, a smart navy blue, a soft pink or elegant champagne. I chose the latter which I am very pleased with. I really like having a slightly different colour so I can tell my luggage apart from everyone else’s.
The Windsor hardshell case is beautifully lightweight at only 2.7kg. The spacious navy lined fabric interior has a capacity of 38 litres, with a mesh divider section, an inside pocket and packing straps in the main section to keep your clothes in place, plus it has a useful top carry handle as well as an adjustable push-button trolley system which has a smooth action. The 8 spinner wheels improve the case’s stability and help it glide along effortlessly, it also includes a Travel Sentry Approved TSA combination lock and a 15-year warranty.
I’m shortly off on a couple of trips first to Jurassic Dorset and then to the Kent coast, so I am looking forward to packing my new case and hitting the road, all I need now is for the sun to shine…
You can check out Rock’s full range of luggage on their website and order direct from them.
