5-2 Diet Fish and Chips

  • 1 Fillet of Cod Skin removed
  • 1 Egg white
  • 2 teaspoons Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 Small Potato Scrubbed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Za'atar


  1. Pre heat the oven to 200c
  2. Slice the potato into chips.
  3. Mix the spices and oil in a ramakin and rub the oily mix over the chips. You can use the chips themselves to spread the spice mixture
  4. Put the egg-white on one small plate and the breadcrumbs on a second one. Coat the fish first in eggwhite then in breadcrumbs
  5. Grease a non stick baking tray and lay out the chips and fish in a single layer
  6. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes till the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges and peas.
