Swish steak dining in the City
Offering high-end South American fare in the heart of the City, Fazenda’s swish and stylish Bishopsgate location aims to impress, with plush furnishing on a large site, with private dining rooms to accommodate business lunches or dinners, both large or small. Fazenda also offers its impressive dining experiences to visitors coming for leisure, including many tourists staying in local hotels, or Londoners visiting nearby Shoreditch or the City, via the nearby and well-connected Liverpool Street or Moorgate stations.

For these weekend diners, Fazenda has launched the Rodizio Weekend Lunch Experience, priced at £35 per adult, £15.90 for children up to 14, and free for under 8s. This menu offers a selection of eight freshly grilled meats, including Picanha (Beef Prime Top Sirloin), Chorizo De Wagyu (Wagyu Beef Spicy Sausage), and Lombo Trufado (Truffled Pork Tenderloin). The menu also offers the delicious bacaxi Grelhado (Roasted Pineapple with Cinnamon) which adds an extra level of intrigue to the end of the meat selection.
With the Rodizio Weekend Lunch Experience, as well as all other meals at Fazenda, diners have access to the Market Table, located in the centre of the dining area. A cold buffet, the Market Table offers a wide range of charcuterie, cheeses, salads, and even a selection of different types of salt, which diners are welcome to visit as often as they like.

To begin our meal, we particularly enjoyed the Red Wino cocktail. A wide range of reds are available to select from the wine menu, particularly focussed on famous South American wine-growing regions such as those in Chile and Argentina, but for those preferring cocktail as a sweeter option to wine, this creative cocktail from Chile blended the two with great success. Consisting of El Jimador reposado tequila, strawberry-infused red wine, Cocchi rosa, yellow chartreuse, and soda water, this cocktail comes highly recommended. Similarly, the Clericó, Religious Leader, cocktail made from Pampelle grapefruit aperitif, branca menta, watermelon, and Chandon brut was a fruity twist on the traditional Argentinian white Sangria and was fruity, zingy and refreshing.

From the starters section of the menu, we were impressed by the bolinho de bacalhau, the salty dried fish proving a very suitable filling for the deep-fried croquettes. The burrata criolla also creatively combined the Italian white cheese with Wagyu chorizo, tomato, ají rojo, and a charcoal cracker.

Following our starters, we flipped over the small golden blocks on our table, indicating to the waiters that we were ready for the grilled meats to be brought to our table via long skewers
A particular highlight from the selection was the Picanha prime top sirloin which was remarkably tender, and bursting with flavour. The chicken hearts were lean and tender, and the bloody sirloin and rich rib eye would also appeal greatly to any carnivore. Waiting staff at the Fazenda were attentive and happy to explain the variety of cuts and meats on offer, as long as the golden block is flipped the right way, skewers continue to be brought to your table at appropriate intervals, and diners can flip the block back over at any time if they would like to take a break.

For dessert, we shared the excellent white chocolate and lime caipirinha cheesecake, a creatively deconstructed rendition.

In all, Fazenda offers a premium South American dining experience with attention to luxury details and, most importantly, a high-quality and expertly prepared selection of steaks and meat.
