Rated and Reviewed Restaurants in Reading:
A commuter town just 25 minutes on the train from London, Reading is perhaps best known these days for an annual rock festival, the University and a large shopping centre, The Oracle. The shopping centre itself is edged by the Kennet canal and that particular part of the town has become something of a hotspot for eating and drinking out. From the Michelin Starred L’Ortolan Restaurant to the relatively newly opened Corn Stores there are a wealth of independent restaurants in Reading. That’s despite a proliferation of chain restaurants, many of which are very well run in this minster town. Check our round-up of tried and tested restaurants in and around Reading, Berkshire.
