Full Cast Announced for 101 Dalmatians The Musical at Eventim Apollo
Following a successful UK tour, 101 Dalmatians The Musical will transfer to the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith for a limited six-week summer run, from Friday, 18 July, to Saturday, 30 August 2025. Today, Runaway Entertainment confirmed the casting for the production, which brings Dodie Smith’s much-loved story to the stage with a fresh creative vision. What could be better Summer Holiday entertainment for the family?

Pongo and Perdita, two Dalmatians, live happily with their owners, Roger and Anita. When the evil Cruella de Vil kidnaps their 15 puppies along with dozens of other Dalmatian pups to make a fur coat, Pongo and Perdita embark on a daring rescue mission. With the help of other animals across the countryside, they track down Cruella’s hideout, save all 99 puppies, and bring them home, where Roger and Anita decide to adopt them all, making a joyful family of 101 Dalmatians

Joining previously announced Sydnie Christmas, who reprises her role as Cruella De Vil, are Jeff Brazier as Casper, in his professional stage debut, and Aston Merrygold as Jasper. The cast also includes Laura Baldwin (Danielle), Samuel Thomas (Tom), Emma Thornett (Perdi), and Linford Johnson (Pongo), supported by a talented ensemble featuring Dylan Collymore, Victoria Compson-Bradford, Benedict Hastings, Lottie Johnson, Rachel Lea-Gray, Kenan Lewis Smith, Callum Martin, Ronan O’Hara, Joe Sleight, Chioma Uma, and Jhanaica Van Mook.

Brazier said of the role: “I love taking on new challenges and I’m looking forward to learning from this brilliant cast.” Merrygold added: “It’s exciting to be part of this production, and I’m especially looking forward to performing for families this summer.”

The musical features a score by Douglas Hodge and a book by Johnny McKnight, based on a stage adaptation by Zinnie Harris. Direction is by Bill Buckhurst, with design by David Woodhead (sets), Sarah Mercadé (costumes), and Lucy Hind (choreography). Puppetry is by Jimmy Grimes, with musical supervision from Alfonso Casado Trigo and orchestrations by Jack Hopkins.
Originally seen at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2022, this reimagining brings the story of Pongo, Perdi, and their puppies to life with inventive puppetry, choreography, and a playful score.
