No Fuss British Burgers at Foxden in Fulham

Foxden is a must-visit if you’re a fan of a good burger. Find them just off Fulham Broadway on Jerdan Place, with outside tables and bright blue awning, you can’t miss it. The restaurant specialises in showcasing British produce and has a no-fuss attitude when it comes to its food.

The good news is that no-fuss tastes great! Foxden’s brilliant burgers start from a reasonable £8 and we tried ‘The Foxden’. It’s an impressive stack of pulled beef and a dry-aged grass-fed British beef patty, topped with an oozy truffle cheese sauce, sweet caramelised onions, rocket and a soft roll to contain it all. The other burgers on the menu are equally impressive ranging from chicken, pork and duck to a vegan option. Truly something for everyone.

If burgers aren’t your go-to, no problem, the ‘Foxbox’ makes a great alternative. This is either grilled free-range chicken or grilled bavette steak served with your choice of side and sauce. The steak came perfectly pink and topped with a fresh and herby chimichurri sauce which left a nice chilli heat.

Foxden’s large array of sides start from £3.50 and we tried the rosti bites and pulled beef nuggets. The rosti bites were golden globes of fried potato and the pulled beef nuggets paired well with the smoky-sweet Foxden BBQ sauce. These sides are an amazing addition and a nice way to switch it up from the usual burger and fries combo. There are lighter options too with tenderstem broccoli, healthy slaw and superfood salad which would also work well.

To quench your thirst, take a look at the cocktails. Foxden have a large listing and put their own spin on classic drinks. Our ‘Den Mojito’ was delicious, refreshing and came in a signature Foxden cup, a fun addition to the restaurant experience. If you don’t want the fun to stop once you head home, you can purchase your very own Foxden cup for £5 as a reminder of your visit.

Head to Foxden for British burgers at their finest, however, if you can’t make it in person, rejoice as you can enjoy Foxden’s amazing food at home. They’re on Deliveroo as well as their own delivery service which you can find via the Foxden website. As self-certified burger connoisseurs, we’ll definitely be ordering in or heading back to Fulham to try them all!
