ROVI is located in Fitzrovia, a neighbourhood north of Oxford St with many excellent restaurants. Nowadays, vegetarian-focussed restaurants are a growing genre, but this was less the case when it opened in 2018. Ottolenghi has always been a trendsetter.

Spagnoletti is a striking and colourful venue. Bright yellow spaghetti-like pipework intersects the walls and ceilings, and the playful decor includes a cheese-grater clock and a yellow telephone box. It looks a little like an Italian take on the American Diner, but, as I discovered, the food is so much more!

Waterfront Street Kitchen & Bar is a nice destination to visit for its own sake, and you get a watery view for much less than venues near Battersea Power Station.
